For over 30 years, Noblessa’s premium German kitchens have been made in state-of-the-art factories, all overseen by expert craftsmen. As a company, we are committed to designing living spaces where elegance and harmony reign supreme – and ensuring that this is all done in harmony with our beautiful forever-home, Earth.
All of our methods of German manufacturing – from sourcing the best materials, to crafting our high-end kitchen products, and even the transportation of our products to various locations all around the world – are executed with a commitment to upholding a standard of sustainability that is just as high as the quality of work we do.
Here’s a quick look into some of the impressive sustainability awards and certifications of quality that Noblessa has been awarded thus far.
Der Blaue Engel Award
In August 2012, Noblessa became the first brand in the German market to be awarded the environmental seal ‘Der Blaue Engel’ (which translates in English to ‘The Blue Angel’) and we are still currently the only recipient in the kitchen sector – we think that’s pretty incredible.
Issued by the Federal Ministry of the Environment, the seal is given to products that are particularly respectful of the environment and suitable for their intended use within a given market – we’re proud of being awarded this blue stamp of approval for multiple Noblessa products, and we strive to continue producing products of this same environmental quality.
GS Quality Seal
Noblessa’s premium German kitchens and all products that we manufacture also bear the GS Quality Seal, which demonstrates to you, our customers, that all Noblessa’s products comply with advanced technical requirements and safety standards that you would expect from our premium German manufacturing. This means that you can rest assured that your Noblessa products and collections will function optimally for years and years to come – no upgrades needed.
We all know the hazards of buying low-quality items. They break down sooner and function less efficiently, requiring you to replace them more often. This increased consumption of products is not ideal for the environment — so we manufacture products built to last.
PEFC Certification
If you’ve viewed any of our collections, you’ll have seen that materials derived from wood are essential to the production of our kitchens, and in achieving an elegant organic look within any space. We take particular care to handle this raw material in an ecologically responsible manner and do our part to prevent the depletion of this finite natural resource.
The PEFC certificate (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) confirms that these processed materials are derived from sustainably managed forests from regulated sources – so, in essence, anything that is forested is replanted and nourished to sustain responsible production like ours.
Golden M Award
The German Golden M Award is one of the most sought after and respected quality certificates, both on a national and international scale. It’s awarded to products of higher-than-average quality, and according to the most stringent of criteria – both in terms of environmental protection and health.
Certified Quality Management
The protection of natural resources is deeply rooted in the philosophy of our company. That’s why we work with an environmental management system certified to DIN EN ISO 14001. Our energy management system is also defined in accordance with the certificate DIN EN ISO 50001 and constitutes the working basis that leads to the successful achievement of our objectives.
Sustainable Shipping
Last but not least, the final step in the process of getting your beautiful Noblessa products to you is also done with the environment in mind – that’s why we’ve committed to working with shipping partners who are on track to become NetZero by 2030.
